David Ferreira was born on June, 27th, in Lisbon. He lived a great part of his life in Almada, where he studied until High School. At the age of 18, he went to Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in Lisbon, where he studied for 4 years. There he took classes with João Mota, Glória de Matos, Rui Mendes, Fernanda Lapa, Carlos Pessoa, João Brites, among others. But it was with Natália de Matos, his voice and speech teacher, that he started to develop his vocal capacities.
