Originally from Atlanta, Matt began his career DJ’ing private parties and warehouse events. Known for spinning a wide range of musical styles ranging from electro to disco, the sound of Emjae captured the attention of many local promoters. Within the year Matt held weekly residencies at clubs Tongue & Groove, Velvet Room, and Plush. He recently migrated North to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music and set aside his DJ career to focus mainly on his newly found love of production.
