There are two bands/artists named Playgroup

Playgroup is the pseudonym of electro producer and graphic designer Trevor Jackson. Jackson also ran the now defunct record label Output Recordings, as well as producing under the pseudonym 'Underdog', during the 1990's.

In 2001, he released the self-titled first LP; here he brings diverse influences ranging from funk, disco, hip-hop, electro, dub and many more, creating an album that relies heavily on the past, only to reshape it with such vigour that it nearly sounds too modern for its own good.
