The LA Dream Team were a hip-hop group based in Los Angeles, California, active 1985-1989, 1993, and 1996. They are known for being one of the early hip-hop acts on the West Coast and considered one of the pioneers of the West Coast electro-hop scene.

The founder of the LA Dream Team, Rudy Pardee, was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 29, 1957, and later moved to California. There he later met Chris "Snake Puppy" Wilson who shared similar tastes and ideas in music.
