Statedlife (Matt Guilbeau) has been creating musical soundscapes for quite a while. His creations began in his early teens, when he composed some of his earliest musical arrangements for his middle school band. Later, in high school, he performed with his synthesizer, in the talent show.
After getting involved in the Rave/dance culture in the early nineties, he gained notoriety for his dj sets at some premier Raves, clubs and house parties in Sacramento and the Bay area. During this stage in his life, Matthew had a dream, one night, in which he was inside a futuristic music/record store...
