Roma group from the Czech Republic was formed in 2005. Gipsy.cz is claiming to hiphop and trying to fit into many different styles. This roma band is dealing with so-called Romano hip hop culture (music, combining elements of rap and hip hop, traditional Roma music, humour, jazz and Balkan brass band).
Leader is Radoslav Banga alias Gipsy.
They came to be popular after their single Romano Hip Hop from the same first album came into the MTV World Chart Express. Gipsy.cz won prestige Czech music awards Anděl. Gipsy.cz was the first Czech group acting at the festival in Glastonbury.
