Thomas Ring (Petersen) is a Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter.
His debut album Wrong Side Of The Daylight features Rings songwriting and a contemporary atmospheric rocksongs, from the ground that also grew Keane, Coldplay and Snow Patrol. He won the danish televised X Factor show of 2010, convincingly — assisted to the win by Pernille Rosendahl.

He was the only contestant on the show who wasn't in the bottom two during the elimination proces.. When he's not singing he's normally a teacher. He planning to quit teaching after x factor, to put full focus on his new music career, (according to the Danish newspaper BT 11th February, 2011)
