Founded in the late summer of 2009, The Fallen Divine is a new Norwegian Melodic Death Metal band from Sandvika, Akershus. Their sound contains elements elements from a wide specter of genres, including folk music, power metal and thrash metal. All these genres combine in a mashup consisting of furious fretwork, thunderous bass, fast drumbeats, sweeping orchestra sounds and harsh growling vocals as well as clean singing.

Right now, the band is in a process of both songwriting and performing in various clubs. They have plans of recording a demo containing 3–4 songs which will be released sometime in 2010. Some of their songs can be heard on MySpace. Be sure to keep an eye out for The Fallen Divine.
