Tearjerker is an indie/shoegaze band from Toronto, Ontario. Their music is rich with dreamy guitars, thoughtful vocals, driving bass, and a mix of live and sampled drums. Tearjerker is Micah, Trevor, and Taylor.

Their latest album — Strangers — was released on November 16th, via the indie label Sore Thumb Records — sorethumb.ca.

Previous releases include Worries (2008) and Slouching (2009), featuring the the song — On a Lawn — which one reviewer described as: «Gentle shoegazey vocals quietly land onto the surface; the creamy, deep‑bass wraps itself around as tiny sprinkles of pitch‑shifted samples drop right in‑between.»

Tearjerker has been referred to as the «spiritual heirs to Slowdive», although their sound is distinct and their influences are wide‑ranging.
