There are at least two bands with the name «Shrine»:

1. A five‑member band from Sweden.
Did go by the name Pursuit Myself but changed it along with their new sound.
In June 2010 they recorded Reach For Inane in Andy LaRocques Sonic Train Studio. http://www.myspace.com/shrineofficial

2. A Portuguese thrash metal band from Linda‑A-Velha, Lisbon.
Formed around 1990, by Luís Simões (vocals/guitar) of Saturnia and Blasted Mechanism, Eduardo V. (guitar), Rogério Pinto (drums) and António Cavacas (bass).
They released one album «Perspective» in 1994 and three demos.

3. A Bulgarian dark ambient project.

4. A Columbus, OH based musician whose entire collected works can be found http://www.legionofslime.com/music/Shrine/
