Paula was founded by Berend Intelmann and Elke Brauweiler in Berlin, Germany.

There is also a dutch girl Paula whom made a promotional cd for Danone and its videoclips were broadcast on the dutch Nickelodeon. Songs include: 'Alle Letters Op Een Rij', 'Trollen In De Tuin' and 'Ik Lust Alles'.
