Oscillist is a Southern California native whose sound has quickly garnered healthy enthusiasm throughout the internet community, resulting in his recent signing with the up‑and‑coming Scotland‑based Offworld Recordings. Harboring strong inspirational roots in drum & bass, ambient, metal, the ever‑encompassing «idm» genre as well as jazz & classical, pasting genre tags onto his own unique soundscapes is near impossible. A raw, liberated beauty courses through the veins of each track, engendering distilled images of nature's effortless beauty to the mind's eye. This creative intent is reined away from the self‑indulgent pitfalls electronica is often criticized for by grounded, knowledgeable respect for both proper composition & post‑production mastering.
