Only Son is the solo project of former The Moldy Peaches lead guitarist and Stipplicon frontman, Jack Dishel. Based out of New York City, Jack released his first album under the Only Son banner, «The Drop To The Top», on Cassette Records. He has spent much of 2006 touring America, Europe and the United Kingdom supporting top artists such as Regina Spektor and The Strokes.

January 2010 came with the release of Only Son's second album, titled «Searchlight». The thirteen tracks record features songs such as «Magic» and «It's A Boy», a duet with Regina Spektor and guest appearances by members of The Strokes, of Montreal and Little Joy.
