Mara Carlyle is a London‑based singer‑songwriter signed to EMI subsidiary Charisma. She plays the saw and the guitar. She is the child of musicians and was raised in Shropshire, England.

According to the Panni Songfacts, her debut album, The Lovely, was released on Matthew Herbert's label, Accidental Records, in July 2004.
