Majera, (Engin Ogutveren), born October 13, 1988, in Melbourne, Australia, has always been passionate about music. By the age of eight he was playing the guitar, soon after he added the keyboard, and as music continued to be a dominant interest in his life, he realized there would be no turning back. DJ‑ing and music production had to follow.

Some of Engin’s earliest influences were J & R Project, Da Hool and Ayla, all of whom left a deep impression and turned him toward his preferred choice: dance music.

Other influences include such trance‑dance giants as Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Cosmic Gate, Airwave (Lolo), Mike (Push), Nu Nrg, Markus Schulz and Ozgur Can. After a serious knee injury, Engin took time off from his sporting lifestyle, and decided to turn toward producing his own original music.

At present Engin is working on several progressive and trance follow ups. His melodies are consistently haunting, deep and beautiful, a mixture of gentle rhythms and natural sounds which may well prove to be his signature trademark. Already featured on Audiojelly and played in sets by such notable trance artists as Aly and Fila, Engin Ogutveren is a rising young talent in the Australian Trance and Progressive scene.
