Jennifer Horne was born in Houston, Texas, where she briefly joined the communist party. Once she reach the tender age of two, she knew two things. First, that she enjoyed flinging sharp kitchen utensils at her family members, and secondly, that she loved singing. Also, she eventually grew out of her communism phase, and embraced voo‑doo black magic, which clearly played a part in her music career.

While walking down the street, tossing aside her red communism card (made out of the blood of orphaned God‑fearing Americans), poor Jen was without hope. She was 8, it was the tender year of 1995, and her acid‑wash jeans were unfading. So, she used her voo‑doo magic to summon a demon.

«'Ello Jen! How's it goin!» said the remarkably cockney‑sounding demon

«I don't know, remarkably cockney‑sounding demon, I just feel like I don't have a voice»

«'Ell, oh 'ell! Ain't that the Dickens!?»

«The who?»

«Nevermind, he wrote books,» the demon continued. «I'll 'ake your soul, if''n you want I can git you a glorious singin' voice»

«For true!?» 8 year old Jen asked in an awkwardly formal manner

«Ay! For true!»

And with that, the lil' cockney devil did take Jen's soul, and ever since, she used her magic voice to recreate such songs as «that song from the second act of Dr. Horrible» and also «Some musical that involves harmonies».

She now resides in Chicago, Illinois, where she pretends to be allergic to nuts, and sometimes plays poker on the internet.
