Da Octopuss are a French urban music band that were employed by Luc Besson to provide the music for his film District 13 (Banlieue 13 in French). The film has to be one of the finest action movies I have ever seen with free running across rooftops and all stunts and martial arts performed by actors, who are highly trained gymnasts. The music of Da Octopuss is urban and raw, with an unstoppable pace, particularly the tune Motors. Having placed all four songs in a continuos loop on my I‑Pod prior to going off on a run, I found I had knocked six minutes off my three mile time without even realising. It is music that makes you want to move.
