C‑Systems were founded in 2005 with both Staro and Akki combining talent. They had already met earlier that year by coincidence, as they both had songs playing at Norwegian commercial radio stations. One day they met up in Akki's studio, and already the first time they made some good melodies together. By 2006, Staro & Akki spent most of their time producing trance music together.

Christian Zechner knew Akki before that time. He and Akki had been cooperating on music for a while. In 2008 he joined the group as he co‑produced a song called Guitar Heaven. Shortly after that they came in contact with DJ Lemon, who picked up the song. It was renamed to “Close my eyes” and released on Apocalypse Records. “Close my eyes” was also remixed by Lemon & Einar K, soon becoming a worldwide big hit. It was picked up by the biggest trance acts in the world, voted ”future favorite” on Armin’s A State of Trance, and the winner of “Global selection” on Markus Schulz own global DJ Broadcast.

2009 Looks to be a promising year for the Norwegian trio, already remixing Christian’s “November Mourning”, which finished 2nd in the top 10 January 2009 on Corsten’s Countdown. In April they released their second song called “Heat”, which already has gained great support from the biggest trance acts in the world. C‑Systems have a number of exciting releases and remixes coming up which are definitely to be watched out for!
