A.K.A. is a rapper from the north side of Columbus, OH. In 1994 he hooked up with Ratti Records/Columbus Mob. He appeared on their Midwest Funk compilation which showcased upcoming Ohio rappers. That was released in 1995. In 1997 Ratti released the Midwest Funk Vol. 2 compilation which he was featured on. In 1998 he appeared on Nuffy's For My Protection album and Rythum & Ghetto's Da Last Resort album which were both released on Ratti Records. He also was on the Midwest Funk Vol. 3 album, which was released in 1999 by Ratti. In 2003 his long‑awaited album, On The 7th Day, finally dropped on Ratti. Because of both the lyrics & production, many in Columbus' underground rap scene consider the album to be a musical masterpiece. The album features Rythum & Ghetto, Son Of Sam, K‑Jill, Desperado & other Columbus rappers.
