1) Female trio with a countryrock style Released their debut single «It´s useless» in may 2010. Contestant in danish x factor 2010 in the group category.

2)The american doo wop group formed in Philadelphia in 1957, and underwent several lineup changes over the course of their existence; its most prominent member was Ritchie Adams. The group was produced by Gerry Granahan. Their debut for Roulette Records was the single «The Crawl», but the group's second single, the Ribbon Records release «You Were Mine», was their biggest hit. It peaked at #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1959. Later singles included «I Can't Say Goodbye», «Marianne», and «My Girl» (all 1960); «I Can't Say Goodbye» was the only charter, peaking at #90 in the U.S.. In 1962 the group reappeared on Taurus Records with «You Were Mine for Awhile» and «Blacksmith Blues» on Hamilton Records; three other singles followed on Taurus, but the group never returned to the charts. The group lasted as long as 1967 before disbanding for good.
Adams went on to release some solo singles and had a highly successful songwriting career. Granahan had a solo hit the same year The Fireflies had their only Top 40 hit.
The original members involved in the song «You Were Mine» in 1959 were Paul Giacalone, Richie Adams, Lee Reynolds, John Viscelli, Carl Girosli. Background singers also included Jerry Granahan and the Perone Sisters. The songs «You Were Mine» and «I Can't Say Goodbye» were both written by Paul Giacalone.

3) The Fireflies consist of Moreno (Bass), Ben (Guitar), Sander (Vocals) and Brent (Drums). They participated in the Eurosong for kids preselection in Belgium (September 2006), and placed second after 'Thor!', the youngest candidate in the final show, on October 1st.

A new member, Thomas (Keyboards), joined the band and they're more alive than ever. Presently they tour the country with their own metal songs and hope to record their first album soon. (Rockmuziek is in! Dat bewezen de gasten van Lordi al op het Songfestival, en de jongens van The Fireflies doen hetzelfde bij Eurosong for kids!

Naast bassist Moreno en gitarist Ben zitten er ook twee broers in de band: zanger (en gitarist) Sander is de broer van drummer Brent, en ook omgekeerd. De groepsnaam werd hen ingefluisterd door een zwerm betoverende vuurvliegjes op een zwoele zomeravond...

De jongens van The Fireflies leven echt voor de muziek: hun instrumenten zijn hun belangrijkste bezit en al hun vrije tijd offeren ze op aan repetities, muziekkampen, optredens, muzieklessen,...

Dat The Fireflies rockers zijn van de meest zuivere soort, blijkt meteen uit hun favorietenlijstje: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dream Theater, Nirvana en meer van dat fraais!

En als de muziek dan toch even op stil staat, houden deze jonge gasten zich graag bezig met trampolinespringen, gamen, chatten en The Simpsons kijken. Bezige bijen, die Fireflies!

Hun inzending heet 'Waarom?' en werd geproduced door Paul Despiegelaere, ook bekend als producer van X!nk. De Rolling Stones kunnen maar beter op hun tellen passen...
