A lot has happened for Prins Nitram since his days on the open road. In spite of his habit of performing as a one‑man band and playing almost all instruments himself, there is room enough here for some other competent musicians to share in the fun. Which is why we find the ever‑acute Thomas Blachman (Page One) on the title number, Bomty Bomty. Also delivering an exceptional performance on several tracks is British producer and Gorillaz bassist Al Mobbs, who the Prince met through a mutual friend at a party. The combined effect is the creation of a fantastic richness of detail in the musical underscoring of all ten numbers.
