Advokat is the former pseudonym for Robbie Davies (b. 1972 in Crediton, Devon, UK) — an electronic musician now under the moniker of Towers of Asia. Davies mixes and recycles «clips» from improvised/live sessions and the result is a mesh of sounds that evolve with each release. The music fuses natural timbres and acoustics with live electronics.

Influences include Karlheinz Stockhausen, Brian Eno, Bernard Sumner and Keiren Hebden.

During his final year of 1993 at the University of Gloucestershire, UK, Davies lectured a class on Electronic Music.

His latest album, Disparities, was recorded in London and released in 2005 on the SRL Records label.
