Recently, under the alias animal‑style, he has been writing chiptune music on programs like Nanoloop, LSDJ, and famitracker. Along with popularizing the 8bit fuzz guitar pedal (FXDoctor.com) by intertwining catchy melodies with crafty guitar riffs, Mariano has also spent some time bridging the gap between classical music and chip tunes with realeases like Gameboy Madrigals. Inventor of the Gameboy Foot Controller, he continues to innovate the live performance of chip music through improvisation and creativity.
