RELIGHT ORCHESTRA is a project created and produced by ROBERT ”ENO” RELIGHT (great dj of the hugest clubs in Italy) ALEX MONTANA (voice and percussions) and MARK LANZETTA (violin & vocals) Under this pen name, they create house music looking up to the production’s fees of 70s’-80s’ discomusic. So their tracks are a wonderful vintage melting pot of real played solos and electronic elements. Their first single “For your love”, worldwide released by Universal music, has been an international hit, played in the clubs for almost two years. With the next singles (Dance all night, The party, Are you ready?, Turn the beat around…) the team has enlarged its list of musician partners., embodying names like CICO CICOGNANI (LAURA PAUSINI’s bass player), WILLY (GIPSY KINGS’ percussion player), STEFANO SERAFINI (trump player during GLORIA GAYNOR’s Italian tour) and others great jazz musicians. The band, as a conseguence of its success, has started to arrange lots of club live sets during which musicians and singers improvise on the records played by Robert eno dj. In the summer of 2005, the new single “Going back to my roots”, ethnic remake of a Lamont Dozier’s classic, has reached the Italian dance charts’ podium and it has been chosen like spot of a famous television program « MARKETTE», in winter 2005/2006 In summer 2006 RELIGHT ORCHESTRA, with the trendy Italian Dj‑actor ANDREA LUCCHI (DJ ANREA), and with the star performance of MARGARETH MENEZES, one of the most famous singers in Brazil, released together “Uma historia de Ifà –ELEGIBO”. From the 25th of Jenuary, the first official RELIGHT ORCHESTRA album “DISCOLOGY”, it’ s available. Including their greatest hits 2002- 2008, and the singles “Remedios” with Selma Hernandes, and “Beso de Amor” with Carlos “El Rumbero”.
